Robert Alfred Austin

I will miss Bob's 9:45 PM phone calls two to three a week while he was eating his evening meal. I missed the end of many and many movies because he couldn't wait until 10 PM. I guess that is what brothers do. Both of my brothers joining God in the last five month I am sure their pain is gone and they are at peace in God's care. Love them both

A very kind man I meant through his wonderful son Troy and grandson Michael. Robert you have a wonderful family. Through your son Troy I got to meet the kindest man on earth. You raised wonderful children.
Sue you are the greatest Wife, Mom, And Grandmother, you stood by through it all no matter how much pain and suffering Robert was in, You was right there with your love, kindest, and caring.
Robert will be greatly miss by me and my girls for all the teasing and nit picking he could do to me and my girls. We love your family and will always be in our hearts and memories of all the good times we shared together. I will always remember Robert and Troy teaching my self and my children about safety when it came to training dogs. Thanks for letting us be part of your family. Our prays are with you and your family.
Love Always,

To anyone who didn't know Bob very well, would have thought he was a difficult man. For those that knew him, realized that he just enjoyed getting a reaction out of people. Bob always enjoyed teasing me about my weight, and it didn't take long before I shot back at him about his age. To anyone who didn't know any better, would think we couldn't stand each other, but the fact is I loved Bob. I enjoyed his company, his antics, his love of family, and his love for life. Above all, I love Bob for bringing Mike back into my life. I am only sorry that Sami didn't get to know him better. A little piece of Bob will shine through his granddaughter with their shared love of animals. We will miss you Bob.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an individual dies that has been especially close to someone here, that individual goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends to relax. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the individuals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The individuals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all relax together, but the day comes when one suddenly looks into the distance. His eyes are intent and searching. Suddenly he begins to part from the group, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your loved one, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Oh Bob! I am so shocked and tearful at your passing. You served this earth as a kind and wonderful man. My purchases from you of my two dogs were great matches, and Goliath will surely miss you along with me.
I know in my heart you are in heaven now along with my Father that passed a few months ago, and that you are no longer in pain.
I will greatly miss you Bob. My god rest your soul as you await Sue to come be with you.
My sincerest love

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Our time together was short and I regret that we were unable to do all that we wanted to do. I will cherish the time we had and remember all the special times we shared. I am happy that you are now at rest and your pain and suffering is over. You will always be with me and I will be with you again one day. I will always remember and hold dear your sincere love for me and I know that you went to sleep knowing that you were loved by me. I will miss you so much. Sleep peacefully, my love.
